The Tax adviser role is to ensure that the process of incorporation is in your interest and benefit, and to guide you and other professionals about the structuring of the portfolio.

An Experienced Conveyancer

An experienced conveyancing solicitor is essential as the legal side could be more complex than standard sale/purchases. They will ensure the legal side is completed effectively.

Lots of paperwork & a Good deal of Patience

The reality is, the incorporation of a medium to large portfolio will take some time, expertise and lots of paperwork, however it could be hugely financially beneficial in the long run.

It is imperative for each of the above professionals (Conveyancing solicitor, tax adviser/accountant, broker and landlord) to work together and communicate effectively for the transaction to complete successfully and as smoothly as possible

Where does Balanced fit in

If you have mortgages against your properties we can look at each one and advise what you need to do with each different lender (they have differing rules on this). Some will need to be informed, some will require some legal work and others simply will not allow it, in which case a new mortgage may be needed. If the process of incorporation needs funding we can help you withdraw funds from your portfolio as part of the transaction. If you are planning to incorporate in the future, but not now we can ensure your mortgages are with lenders who will not require you to redeem the existing mortgage upon corporation helping you forward plan.
